Reza Marivand

• Artistic Director and Conductor of Rhetoric Orchestra

• The guest conductor of the orchestra and choir of Tehran Music Conservatory
• The permanent member of the International Federation of World Musicians (FIM)
• Secretary of Tehran Academic Music Center (affiliated to Municipal Cultural and Artistic Organization)

He started learning music through Classical Guitar study when he was only 16 years old. After obtaining a computer degree in 2002 he started to study Music academically at the Music university with professional professors like Dr. Homa Sadat Afsari, Dr. Marina Aghabekian, Professor Clara Puca Chava, Mostafa Pour Torab, Ehsan Sobuhi, Keyvan Mirhadi, Alexander Havansian, Sergic Mirzayan etc.

Beside music education, he learnt to playing the guitar in flamenco style in observation of Shahuin Alavi and Ehsan Faramarzi and to completing his education he passed the Master course taught by Kaveh Nasehi.  His interest to classical orchestral works during his education period, leaded him to be a conductor therefore he spent choir and orchestra conducting courses taught by Professors like Nasir Heydarian, Nader Mashayekhi and Vadim Mitriyayov. Additionally, he has graduated from Professional Bachelor of Music in Orchestra Conducting.

In 2013 Marivand hold the Rhetoric Orchestra and as an artistic director and conductor, hold many performances by this Orchestra such as the Concert of the most famous aria of Italian operas accompanied by singers from Ukraine, works by Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti, Bellini and Mozart and also great works of classical music by composers such as Mahler, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saëns, Shostakovich, Vivaldi, Brahms and so on.

Performance experience and cooperation in the presence of ambassador of the Ukraine, France, Romania, England, Lebanon, Belgium, Japan, Georgia, India, Brazil, Tunisia, Egypt and UNESCO’s area manager is shining in her resume.

In Iranian Music industry, he Conducted many concerts like Golhaye Navin Orchestra with supervision of Rambod Latifi with performances of great Iranian music works.
